"Finding the right contractor can be confusing, stressful, and hard work. When my husband and I decided to build a workshop we discovered (because we were new to the area and not having friends or family that could recommend a contractor) that it’s not as simple as making a phone call. We contacted several contractors, and after getting several estimates, we were still where we were at the beginning — unsure of whom to hire. However, after meeting Mike we knew we had found the “right man for the job”. He and his “crews” were professional and thorough, and we discovered an added benefit. His crews were a mix of very experienced craftsmen and eager apprentices who were excited to be learning from the very best. This gave Bob and me a feeling that we were building more than a workshop — we were helping to build the next generation of carpenters, electricians, roofers, and etc.
To say that we were pleased with the job is an understatement. After building the workshop we had Mike put in a ceramic floor in our kitchen, which ended up with us deciding to finish that project with a remodel of our kitchen to make it more efficient. Michael’s Workshop has helped us become more energy efficient with new doors, some windows and insulation. No matter how big or small the job is — it gets done right. We’ve been so pleased with the work that Michael’s Workshop has become our “family contractor” as he’s finished the basement for one daughter and her family, refinished a room and added a deck for another daughter and her husband, put in a laminate floor for our son and his family, and built a ramp and done some “emergency” electrical work for Bob’s mom.
All we can say — you need a contractor? You can’t do better than Michael’s Workshop! When we’re ready to do our next project — Michael’s Workshop will get the job!"
